Bull honky. There was a problem with one chicken processing plant 5 years ago. KFC themselves boycotted this plant. The problem has been rectified and PETA has just been rehashing this same issue over and over. Quit listening to PETA and pull your heads out wherever you’ve stuck them.
If you want villains, look to PETA themselves. They kill over 90% of the stray animals they take in, citing they were unadoptible. They aren’t used for food or any useful purpose, in fact, they’re dumped in garbage cans.

i just rescued a young male cat. i didn’t have a cat carrier with me or anything. i was leaving my cousin’s memorial service, so i really wasn’t thinking about cats. that poor little kitty cuddled in my arms all the way home. he wrapped his arms around my neck, nuzzled me and sighed. i think he was frozen half to death. he wanted to be inside my coat.
i don’t know how it’s going to work out with the other kitties. they don’t seem to like him, and he’s young and scared. i’m going to keep them separated at least for now. he’s such a loving cat. i’ve never been hugged by a cat before. it was awesome. he actually fell asleep in my arms.
he’s a beautiful golden-eyed marmelade kitty with white socks and he has that big head males get. yes, that means he’s an uncut male, so i’m going to have to deal with that tout de suite. i have a young female who needs to be spayed, so i am moving on the details right now.
i named him danny for my cousin.
i can’t believe i did this. i already have one kitty who has to be sequestered away from the others… but i couldn’t have chosen to leave him to his fate.

I second-generation rescued a year-old female who had been dumped at the zoo and the head of mammals took her home, but the resident cat’s didn’t like her. So I ended up with this really beautiful kitty who keeps trying to take the humans out. I think she’s learned to be defensive, and scared. So when she attacks, we just freeze, and she sniffs. It’s gotten a lot better. But I miss my old kitty so much. Actually, he didn’t hug people, either.

Some time ago I was driving home on a sunny early evening near where routes 72 and 84 diverge in Connecticut when I saw a black kitteh laying half upright in the middle of the road at rush hour. Slowed and stopped my car it the middle of traffic and ran and scooped injured kitteh into the car. He rode home on the floor of the passenger seat and once home he limped over to the corner underneath the iguana enclosure (seperate story) and flopped down. Our Murph kitteh took an interest and gave him kisses.
Wonderful veterinarian in New Britain treated him for hip injury (ball of hip socket snapped away, turns out kittehs can has good function without it).
Put flyers up in subdivision adjacent to where kitteh was lying in the road, and the owner called but hung up when I mentioned the stay in vet’s office before I could explain that the vet would not charge her for the bill.
Someone soon adopted this sweet kitteh who saw the cars rushing toward him when he couldn’t move.
